The Hinterland House is a design proposal intended to be built in the quiet, lush Crystal Creek of Australia. The residential building is only a one bedroom though has a large rooftop area that is accessible via an internal staircase. This floor plan layout can easily be altered to include an additional one-two bedrooms by altering the rooftop floor area.
Natural lime plasters finish the walls, floors, ceilings, stairs and kitchen cabinetry. Natural wax finished oak is used on internal and external doors along with furniture and shelving. Limestone makes up the kitchen island bench and cabinetry along with the free-standing bath.
